hmmm, it was when i just started uni, well, i've since dropped out at the end of my second year.
so, whats going on with me? not a massive amount, just plodding along really, doing a vast variety of things, and i mean vast! in my ever ensuing search for a job i'm currently doing 3 part time jobs with the odd casual job thrown in for good measure. lets take the last 3 months for example, i work in a local pub/restaurant, i was doing 20-30 hours a week there, but due to that pesky little credit crunch, im lucky if i get 5! so my ever lovely boyfriend put m forward for some casual follow spotting for the panto in the lovely little theatre of our lovely little city of durham ( the gala for those not in the know) so over xmas i got to see 30 performances of alladin, and even when my contract was over i went and sat in the audience to watch a performance, so i actually got to see the flying carpet, as usually id run up to the fly floor at that point to shine a light on it! and let me tell you, even though i know exactly how it works and how un-magical in process it is, it looked bloody amazing when that carpet took off, it earned a round of applause every time, and for bloody good reason!
so anyway, that kept me busy for the majority of december, my lovely partner (again!) is friendly with the box office manager in the theatre and mentioned that she was having problems getting cover for weekday shifts due to various reasons and so suggested i go talk to her and put myself forward for part time work, so i did and am now working part time in the gala theatre box office as well as the pub.
on top of that, i'm an ann summers organisers and so when i can get them, i fill my nights going to womens houses, showing off our rather lovely range of clothing novelties and *ahem* other things, selling them and playing games and making money! so thats my nights sorted.
o yeah and lets not forget the post office, when post office clerks go on holiday or need a random day off at a selection of regional post offices (namely my mother's) i go give people who usually dont deserve it money and sell stamps, ok so its a little more complicated than that, but you get the general idea!
so thats what occupies my time, well, i still manage to fit in reading several books a week and sleeping more than i should, and o yeah, farting about on facebook and other random websites.
i am looking for a full time job, would be nice to have a regular week with a regular pay and a little bit of security, but you can almost guarantee as soon as i manage to get one i long for the days of my variety jobs!!!
so thats me, what are you up to in your life?
